With the support <strong>of</strong> SEJ’s Fund for <strong>Environmental</strong> Journalism, reporter Jude Isabella was able to travel with scientists to a remote location on the coast <strong>of</strong> British<br />
Columbia where they found stone fish weirs, some <strong>of</strong> the oldest evidence <strong>of</strong> Pacific salmon exploitation by humans on the West Coast. The FEJ awards up to<br />
$2,500 for environmental reporting projects and other journalism-related entrepreneurial ventures to applicants who meet SEJ’s membership eligibility requirements.<br />
