1. To continue to promote <strong>and</strong> raise the pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> Heritage in Co. <strong>Leitrim</strong> in Recognition <strong>of</strong> its cultural <strong>and</strong> economic benefits<br />

for the people <strong>of</strong> <strong>Leitrim</strong><br />

1.1 Appoint full time Heritage Officer for Co. <strong>Leitrim</strong><br />

Proposed Partner: LCC, HC<br />

Heritage Officers contract expired <strong>and</strong> was not replaced<br />

Heritage Assistant appointed in January 2012 for 9 months through the Job Bridge internship<br />

1.2 Compile database <strong>of</strong> heritage features in the <strong>County</strong><br />

Proposed Partner: LCC, HF, DoEHLG<br />

Survey <strong>of</strong> Architectural Heritage was carried out, documented buildings <strong>of</strong> most significance in the county---results published in<br />

National Inventory <strong>of</strong> Architectural Heritage in <strong>Leitrim</strong>.<br />

Existing sites <strong>and</strong> monuments recorded <strong>and</strong> updates on National Monument Service site<br />

1.3 Seek funding to publish Heritage Inventory for the county<br />

Proposed Partner: HF, LEADER<br />

National Inventory <strong>of</strong> Architectural Heritage in <strong>Leitrim</strong> published<br />

Archaeological Inventory <strong>of</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Leitrim</strong> published 2003<br />
