Taraxacum<br />

With <strong>the</strong> publication <strong>of</strong> Dudman <strong>and</strong> Richard’s D<strong>and</strong>elions <strong>of</strong> Britain <strong>and</strong> Irel<strong>and</strong><br />

(1997) <strong>the</strong> nomenclature <strong>of</strong> this genus has been brought up to date, <strong>and</strong> some new<br />

records are indicated on <strong>the</strong>ir maps. Because <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> complexity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> genus, all <strong>the</strong><br />

species are listed as in <strong>the</strong> original <strong>Flora</strong>, with Stet. where no change to <strong>the</strong> name or<br />

<strong>the</strong> distribution has been made.<br />
