Organize daily meetings to plan activities of the caseworkers. (Visits, counselingsessions, follow up, referrals)2. Ensure daily monitoring of caseworkers activities and report on a daily and/orweekly basis.3. Lead staff weekly meeting to discuss the most urgent individual cases.4. Ensure adherence to INTERSOS, UNHCR and GLOBAL guidelines, criteria andstandards of assistance.5. To conduct a stakeholder mapping together with the caseworkers and share itwith INTERSOS GBV Focal Point by the first month of the implementation.6. Ensure the referral mechanism system is knowing and respected by thecaseworkers.7. Ensure smooth <strong>com</strong>munication and coordination between the team members ofthe psychosocial support.8. Monitor and follow up the out<strong>com</strong>es of the material assistance provided for thesurvivors.9. Willing to work extra hours and available at the weekend for emergency cases.<strong>Vacancy</strong> 3Position: GBV Case worker (4)Duration:six monthsPurpose / Objectives:The GBV Caseworker is responsible for identification, assessment and psycho-socialsupport to vulnerable women, boys and girls at risk of GBV or GBV survivorsapproaching or being referred to the <strong>com</strong>munity based social workers based in thedistricts, reached out trough home visits, referred by other GBV actors and/orapproaching directly the office.Responsibilities/duties:


1. Detect, counsel and follow up GBV individual cases2. Conduct psychosocial assessment of vulnerable cases: interviews shallinclude an assessment of environmental, emotional, behavioral, and socialfactors as well as resources and strengths that impact the individual wellbeing.3. Conduct ad hoc assessment for the provision of material assistance or/andtransportation cost to reach the nearest hospitals or health clinics.4. Good knowledge and coordination with other GBV service providers andstakeholders to be able to well-inform the client on the various servicesproviders and to make appropriate referral system.5. Conduct with the GBV Field Coordinator stakeholder analysis in the 4 districtswere OSPAD is working to understand who does what.6. After GBV identification to fill in the Intake form and send it to the GBVcoordinator on a weekly bases.7. When needed, identify a caretaker and/or a safe shelter for individual cases.8. When necessary, ac<strong>com</strong>pany the client to the service providers needed(health, VTC, other service providers ect)9. Monitor and follow up the out<strong>com</strong>e of the material assistance provided to theGBV survivors on a weekly basis.10. Keep informed the GBV field Coordinator on the individual cases conditionson a daily basis.11. Makes prompt reports and brings to the immediate attention of the GBV fieldCoordinator any case of special needs.12. Prepare GBV awareness work plan together with the GBV field coordinators.13. Conduct GBV awareness sessions together with the GBV field coordinator.14. Support the GBVIMS reporting officer in writing monthly report with theanalyses of the GBV cases and respect deadline for the delivering of monthlyreport or any kind of urgent report.Qualifications required:1. Focal points in the 4 districts assigned for reporting situation of women at risk ofGBV, GBV survivors or any other case of protection;2. Interact with the IDP <strong>com</strong>munity on a daily basis to coordinate counselingservices when needed;3. Identify Community Leaders (women and men), gatekeepers and othersstakeholders and organize meetings with them in order to assess the protectionneeds of the <strong>com</strong>munity;4. Sensitize <strong>com</strong>munity through <strong>com</strong>munity leaders on services providers in eachIDP settlements;5. Facilitate the implementation of the GBV awareness plan and the hygieneinformation campaign;6. Identify cases of needs through the interaction with the IDP and make promptreports and brings to the immediate attention of GBV field coordinator;7. Support the caseworkers to implement the referral system for health,psychosocial, security/protection and legal services to survivors of GBV;8. Work in close coordination with the case workers for the distribution of materialassistance provided to the women, men, boys and girls at risk of GBV and GBVsurvivor;9. Look for rooms for IC in need of a safe place along with the caseworkers;10. Identify care givers or ac<strong>com</strong>paniers for ICs in need;11. Facilitate mediation, when is needed, among IDP.12. Prepare weekly and monthly reports in cooperation with the caseworkers;13. Preparation of detailed work plans;14.
