From the raw material to the glass yarnSYSTEXX is made of 100% natural and pollutant-free mineralproducts such as quartz sand, baking soda, lime anddolomite.When you heat these substances to 1250° C, glass is created.The batch of glass is then quickly pulled into numerous singlefilaments which are later put together again to form glassyarn.From the glass yarn to the wall coveringSYSTEXX wall coverings are woven together on traditionalweaving looms. Most of the designs are made using Jacquardweaving techniques with which extremely fine reliefs andcontours can be created. At the end, the fabric receives afinish which gives it stability and makes it supple. Afterwardsthe back of the wall covering is pre-coated with adhesive atthe plant and this ensures homogenous application of theadhesive and makes processing much simpler.

Natural resourcesare not endangered by this.- Consumption of energetic natural resources:After being applied to the wall, SYSTEXX requires nomore energy and also does not emit substances intothe environment. Maintenance is not necessary.- Emissions into bodies of water: An internalcirculation for the reuse of water at the productionsite ensures less water consumption and preventscontamination of the environment.- Contribution to the healthy quality of indoorspace: The product (without coatings) contains nosolvents and emits no volatile, organic compounds.The adhesive coating on the back of the wall coveringis primarily based on a polymer emulsion which ismade from water and products of natural origin.
