15ALTAUSTA16ALTA is a non-profit organization devoted to the developmentof tennis for recreation and physical fitness and is pledged tomaintain the rules of play and high standard of sportsmanship.The primary function of ALTA is scheduling league play foradult teams and junior teams in the five-county metro Atlanta.A facility annexation program was developed in 1988 to includequalifying facilities in counties adjacent to the metro counties.Sweetwater serves as home court facility for more ALTA teamsthan any other facility in Atlanta.
