22 annual report 2011 - 2012 kerrin Anderson - left March 14th 2012 General Manager and Director, Strategic Partnerships In the emerging field of large-scale public and private partnerships, kerrin has emerged as a national leader in structuring and establishing effective research and development joint ventures including CRC Sugar Industry Innovation through Biotechnology, CRC for Aboriginal Health, the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health Queensland and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute Ltd. kerrin graduated from ANU in Arts and Law in 1992 and completed her Masters of Law at the University of Queensland in 2000. She is currently enrolled in a PhD at the Australian Centre for Intellectual Property Research in Agriculture, the University of Queensland. As General Manager and Director, Strategic Partnerships at Eidos, kerrin is tasked with: + Driving the strategic direction and growth of the organisation. + Senior leadership responsibilities for all of Eidos’s key operational business units, working to enhance and expand services to Eidos members and strengthen Eidos’s corporate services. + The promotion and enhancement of Eidos’s services by working proactively with Eidos members, government, industry and other stakeholders. + Leading and motivating staff within a changing environment + Influencing and leading internal and external university, government and industry relations timothy london (2004 - 2011) Filmographer, Eidos Creative Tim has over 8 years experience working with universities, government, not-for-profits and small businesses, both locally and internationally. His career as a designer began at the University of Queensland in 2002 where he co-founded a graphic design cooperative, Boilerhouse Digital. The core purpose of this unit was to contribute to the University’s community engagement by offering cost effective graphic design and multimedia services to not-for-profits and community organisations in the surrounding region. In early 2006 Tim was contracted by Eidos Institute and charged with establishing the Institute’s corporate identity, website and other marketing collateral. During 2006 Tim’s position transformed into Manager of Eidos Creative. For an 18-month period between January 2007 and Mid 2008 Tim left Australia and worked on an AusAid project in Vietnam. This period overseas saw Tim work with an Australian NGO, ACC World Relief, where he produced a series of short films on the organisation’s projects; A Vietnamese government department, where he trained local staff in design, photography and film techniques; and the International Organisation for Migration, where he was consulted to desktop publish a project compendium and work on a HIV awareness campaign for the Asia Development Bank. lynn Hammer (2011 - 2012) Manager, Eidos International Lynn has a passion for innovation and an extensive background in empowering resource-poor communities through collaborative initiatives in Africa, Europe and Asia. Lynn has completed an Advanced Masters Degree in Business, specialising in Entrepreneurship, at the University of Queensland.
