Abrade, clean, repair and prime,as required. For solid coloured coatings abrade with sand paper grit 800-1000.Protect surrounding areas from overspray with masking tape and paper.Ensure ISOPON SprayTek Spray Paint is thoroughly dry before application of clearlacquer.If spraying over solvent-based colour basecoat, apply ISOPON SprayTek Clear Lacquerwithin a period of 20-60 minutes after application of the basecoat.Shake can thoroughly before use for a minimum of 2 minutes.ApplicationApply 2-3 even coats of ISOPON SprayTek Clear Lacquer for a high gloss mirror-likefinish and protection against the effects of weathering and UV damage.Allow 5-10 minutes flash-off time between coats.Drying TimeAllow to dry for 2 – 3 hours before handling.Drying time is dependent upon film thickness, humidity and temperature.2 years subject to good storage conditions.Shelf LifeTo clear the nozzle and maximise the lifespan of your ISOPON SprayTek aerosol, alwaysinvert the can and spray upside down for a few seconds after each use. Should the nozzlebecome blocked, remove it from the can and soak it in gentle thinners.Issue 1/2012
