Every idea we had seemed simple, but the adults wanted to break the ideasdown to be more complex.Age differences (music, cultures, norms are different).Different views.Many don’t believe in such thing as a high school student not drinking/doing drugs.Some provide alcohol to minors.Sometimes I feel that they think we don’t care or know much so they don’t think they can learnfrom us.Sometimes they don’t understand what we are going through.They did it when they were young and they don’t think it’s a bad thing.They don’t always like to listen to us because they think we don’t know things.They don’t think we know anything – no experience.They think you’re just another dumb kid.They’re older so they don’t always think what we have to say is important.A86. <strong>Adult</strong> survey: Open-ended question: What can you do to help the youthand adults in the group work together to complete the project?What can you do to help the youth and adults in the group work together to complete theproject?Be organized and have everything set out.Be very open to their ideas and support their thoughts.
