Any additional manpowerneeds will be requested by the department through the Top ManagementCommittee (TMC) that will decide whether to approve or disapproved therequest. TMC will then instruct the Human Resource department to advertisethe vacancies.5.2.4 Do the expertise of the current academic staff match with what is needed todeliver the programme? Provide information of the compatibility between theteacher and the module in a matrix form.Refer to item 5.1.55.2.5 Provide information on the research focus areas of the academic staff andshow how they relate to, or support, teaching-learning of the programme.MEDIU is a newly established institution; therefore it has yet to embark onresearch activities. However, being a university, it is planning to be active in3 main areas with ICT and Islamic finance as one of the main focus.
