2 Hi, my name is <strong>Neal</strong> <strong>Weichel</strong> and welcome to the first issue of The <strong>Realtor</strong>. This magazine is the latest version of the newsletter I have written since 1992, which keeps busy people informed about Real Estate in the Santa Clarita Valley. My listing coordinator, Nathan, liked the title because it mimicked “The Economist,” and that is what this magazine, in essence, is meant to be – a no fluff, factual analysis about trends, future growth, and insight into Santa Clarita real estate from someone who has studied it extensively for seventeen years. Because my job is to sell real estate, with each issue I will include articles that feature different communities in our valley. I’ll also give you the latest in property values (with a prediction or two), and of course all the best listings in Santa Clarita for your consideration!
