MASTER OF LIGHTINGMaster of Lightning - Elliot Dahlgren Strååt saw the artist use overcast, stormy weather to his advantage by creating a glass vase produced by lightning hitting a mouldfilled with sand. Spending numerous days devising his plan, Strååt had to trust the power of nature as he sent a raft into the lake which held his sand mould. Afterretrieving the mould from the lake bed after the storm, Strååt proudly showed off his vase which is unique in shape, colour and pattern, with air bubbles and lightningstreaks weaved throughout.www.dahlgrenstraat.com
