The publication will consist of a collection of essaysfrom prominent Australasian academics and practitioners, as well as a comprehensivecatalogue of projects delivered during the most remarkable period of capital investmentin health infrastructure ever seen in the region.The publication will be provided complimentary to all federal and state healthdepartments in Australasia, and to all delegates at the 9th Design & Health WorldCongress in Brisbane, with copies also available for sale during and post the event.Who should submit?The publication is open to any Australasian or international organisations in both theprivate and public sectors involved on the design and/or delivery of a healthcare buildingin Australia or New Zealand during the period 2000-2015.The submission requirements:Each entry, must be submitted with the following information and materials:a) Completed Submission Form: The submission form must be completed in full bythe deadline of 3 May, 2013.b) A Project Description (750 words), highlighting the project narrative, the briefand how the challenges were met; the model of care; the use and application ofresearch in the design process; examples of innovation; and any post-occupancyfeedback (if available). The description should be in an accessible style of prosethat is succinct and factual, but with attention paid to avoid excessive elaborations.c) Images and illustrations: A comprehensive selection of fully labelled, professionallyphotographed high resolution (300dpi) images in tiff, eps or jpeg format in largesize (300x300mm). Images should include a full selection of interior and exteriorfeatures of the project, concept drawings, plans and sections (if available).d) Copyright: It is a condition of submission that all written material, layout plans andimages submitted may be reproduced by the IADH at no cost to themselves insuch a form and in such media (print and online) as the IADH deems appropriatefor the production or promotion of the publication.Selection of submissions:All submissions of projects will be considered for publication in the project directory,if completed during the period of 2000-2015. An editorial decision will be made asto which projects feature in the project review section, which will include lengthierdescriptions and multiple images. The IADH retains the right to edit the submittedmaterial and to decline any project for publication without explanation.
