StocktonNational• Purple Milk Vetch Astragalus danicus has been recorded at GreenabellaMarsh.• Frog Orchid Dactylorhiza viride has several records for Billingham Bottoms,though none are recent.• Common Cudweed Filago vulgaris has been recorded from fur<strong>the</strong>r up <strong>the</strong>Billigham Beck Valley.• Tubular Water Dropwort Oenan<strong>the</strong> fistulosa has several records from <strong>the</strong>Billingham Beck/Billingham Bottoms area.• Atriplex longipes x prostrata has been recorded at Greatham Marsh and in <strong>the</strong>former bed <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Old Tees near <strong>the</strong> barrage.• Field Garlic Allium oleracium is occasional on <strong>the</strong> banks <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tees.• Good King Henry Chenopodium bonus-henricus has several records.County• Clustered Bellflower Campanula glomerata has been recorded at ThorpeThewles, though few if any <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> County’s records <strong>of</strong> this plant are nativesites.• Knotted Hedge Parsley Torilis nodosa is found at several places at CowpenMarsh.• Slender Spike-rush Eleocharis uniglumis has been recorded in <strong>the</strong> areaaround Seal Sands.• Orpine Sedum telephium grows at Urlay Nook.All <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se sites with national or county rarities are SSSIs or LWSs, except for Atriplexlogipes x prostrata and Orpine.
