The Deputy Commander isprimarily responsible for coordinating, controlling anddirecting the training activities of the Cadet TrainingGroup. The Deputy Commander is directly responsible tothe Group Commander for the training and performanceof all line personnel at the encampment. Note:Authorized at group level encampment only..(2) Objectives. The CTG Deputy Commander will:• Ensure quality training of all CommandStaff personnel at the encampment..• Directly supervise and evaluate theperformance of the Cadet SquadronCommanders. (Group Level encampmentsonly.).• Adhere to the established cadet trainingschedule..• Comply with the established encampmentacademic, physical fitness and trainingprogram..(3) Examples of Tasks:.• Review the schedule with the SquadronCommanders each evening for the followingday...• Conduct the Group Training Meeting(GTM) and discuss training progress, theschedule or particular problems within thesquadrons..• Monitor exams, physical fitness, andtraining events in order to define the level ofeffectiveness of training. Advises SquadronCommanders on areas needing additionaltraining and meeting of benchmarks.• Assist in selection of Command Staff.c. .Cadet Executive Officer.(1) Overview. The Executive Officer is primarilyresponsible for coordinating, controlling and directing thesupport activities of the Cadet Training Group. The CTG Executive Officer will:• Ensure quality training of all the cadetSupport Staff personnel at the encampment..• Directly supervise and evaluate theperformance of the Support Staffmembers..• Adhere to the established cadettraining schedule..• Comply with the establishedencampment logistic, administrativeand training program..• Examples of Tasks:• Oversee the generation of the CTGPersonnel Authorization..• Conduct personnel evaluationsproviding feedback of performance..• Assist in the selection of supportpersonnel..• Develop training and supervise OJTfor Support Staff cadets to ensuremaximum efficiency.• Establish an in-processing plan forbasic cadets.• Establish an out-processing plan forthe encampment..d. Cadet Command Chief Master Sergeant.(1) Overview. The Cadet Command ChiefMaster Sergeant is responsible for ensuring the cadetnoncommissioned officers of the Cadet Training Groupare thoroughly familiar with their duties andresponsibilities. Note: Authorized at group levelencampment only.(2) Objectives. The Cadet Command ChiefMaster Sergeant will:• Maintain and reinforce the finest idealsand performance of the NCO..• Ensure successful administration of theencampment physical fitness program..• Provide feedback to the Group Staffregarding the effectiveness of the NCO’sof the CTG.• .Provide feedback and counsel to theSquadron First Sergeants regarding theireffectiveness and performance asNCO’s. .• Relieve the Group Staff of any routineadministrative or informational tasks.• Ensure implementation of the DiningFacility SOP and efficient use of theDining Facility.• Supervise the execution of the PhysicalTraining Program..(3) Examples of Tasks:• Personally supervise the execution of thePhysical Training Program..• Reinforce the image and performance ofthe NCO at all times..• Takes notes during all GroupInspections..
