This group concentrateson individual members of the group <strong>and</strong>their distinctive internal cognitive <strong>and</strong> emotionalprocesses.• Interpersonally focused groups. In thesegroups, members evaluate each other’s behavior.The group leader monitors the way clientsrelate to one another, rein<strong>for</strong>ces therapeuticgroup norms, <strong>and</strong> works to prevent contratherapeuticnorms.• Group-as-a-whole focused groups.
