ARMSTRONGHead of Bible DepartmentBeginning as freshmen, each student isenrolled in Brother Armstrong's or BrotherBenson 's closs in Matthew.He passes fromthere to Acts and Hebrews before completingthe freshman year. The sophomores study,under Brother S. A. Bell, the Pentateuch, theHebrew Notion, and Inter-Bibli cal Hi s tory.Advanced COurses in Bible and religion ore taught by Brother B. F. Rhodes,Brother Batsell Baxter, Brother Benson and Mrs. J. N. Armstrong.The purpose of the Bible Deportment at <strong>Harding</strong> is not to producepreachers primarily, but to inspire a deeper reverence for the word of God,and to stimulate personal study and appl ication of Bible truths.
