I feel that I am very much lucky that I joined GBS; GBS gave me good opportunity to grow my interest and
gave a platform to showcase my capabilities.
I was interested to take up HR as my career from school days so I took HR subject as my career choice. It
helped me a lot to understand how the HR functions in corporate world. I got the practical hand on the
management aspect when I had to manage the industrial trip for my batch, which gave me practical
exposure. Talking about project; I got a good practical knowledge about the how the industry (ITC)
functions & worked on the topic called “Employee Engagement with Fun Activities”. This project was
awarded as best project for spring summer-2010 by the company. I was the highest scorer in the Viva; this
was possible because of the inputs and constant guidance at GBS and by my faculty.
My good analytical skill to handle given situation and ability to convince was well recognized by GBS by a
gold medal which was awarded to me. I take this as a honor for me. My parents are proud of my
achievement. The gold medal proves that, I done better in HR and thanks to GBS for grooming me and
helping me to unleash my hidden talents.

GBS has a culture of providing autonomy to students, which helps students to explore their own strengths
and weaknesses. Thus through this 2 year course I explored my strengths and weaknesses and overcame
with some of the weaknesses too.
GBS is such a platform to me where I learnt professionalism, interpersonal skills and time management.
This will definitely help me in practical life too. Also GBS has given me practical learning along with
theoretical insights irrespective of marketing, finance and HR area which will ease me to understand my
job in corporate world in future. This could be possible only by experienced teaching fraternity of GBS.So I
am deeply humble and take immense pleasure to thank GBS for giving me such a valuable recognition. It is
recognition of efforts which I have put into. Through this recognition I am motivated to succeed in my
career path and excel and achieve my career goals.Thus with deep gratitude I thank Director Dr.Prashant
Yatgiri and Director-academics Dr.Ramakant Kulkarni and all the faculties for providing me support
throughout 2 years. There are some moments in our lives when emotions take the better of us. And such
moment I experienced while receiving gold and silver medal for “Overall” and “HR” category respectively.
And finally I thank almighty for giving me strength to proceed in life and parents for immense support to
excel throughout.
