INTERNATIONAL STUDENT LEADERSHello, we are the international student leaders. This year we have students from differentcountries such as Japan, Chile, China, Germany, Korea, and Austria. Our goal is to help theinternational students to experience New Zealand culture to the fullest and enjoy their time atWestern Springs College. We are doing this by organising social events twice a term. We havealready had our first social event which involved visiting the school marae. We would like tothank Whaea Tracey and the Rumaki students for the warm welcome they gave to ourinternational students.We look forward to continue working as international leaders.From your international leaders: Lucy Oh, Caitlin Pearson, Lara Jonas, Ping Leung, David HaSECONDARY STUDENT CONCESSION EXPIRES 31 MARCH 2013All current Secondary Student concessions on Purple HOP cards are due to expire on 31March 2013. It take up to 10 working days to process the concession this means that theyneed to renew the concession on their card, preferably before 21 March 2013, so they cankeep on travelling at the discounted rate they are entitled to. If they don’t renew before then,the HOP card remains valid, but it reverts to an adult profile from 1 April and they will becharged adult fares.CHILD CONCESSIONSAll current Child concessions are valid until the Child’s 16th Birthday. On the child’s 16thbirthday they will be required to apply for a Secondary Concession. Children with a new PurpleHOP card will need to follow the application process.
