The next day we spent the morning snorkelling and on the Glass Bottom Boat where we ran intothe resident snapper as well as other fish in the water. A few people even saw stingrays. We thenspent the afternoon collecting data for our assessment on transect lines in the intertidal zone. Thelast day we rode on a ferry to Tiri Tiri Matangi and went on a guided walk of the island up to thelighthouse where we learnt about the biodiversity of Tiri’s unique ecosystem, We then returned toone of the beaches at the bottom of the island where several people went swimming.
