<strong>Indo</strong>-<strong>Pacific</strong> <strong>War</strong> <strong>Game</strong> <strong>2012</strong><strong>Design</strong> <strong>Workshop</strong>Background: During the period 26-30 March <strong>2012</strong>, the United States <strong>Naval</strong> <strong>War</strong> College inNewport, Rhode Island will host the <strong>Indo</strong>-<strong>Pacific</strong> <strong>War</strong> <strong>Game</strong> <strong>2012</strong>. The <strong>Design</strong> <strong>Workshop</strong> willbe held on 14 December 2011 with check-in starting at 1130 in the lobby of McCarty-Little Hall.Objectives: The <strong>Design</strong> <strong>Workshop</strong> is intended to leverage the knowledge of subject matterexperts to better inform the development of the game.Location: McCarty-Little Hall, U.S. <strong>Naval</strong> <strong>War</strong> College, Newport, Rhode Island. McCarty-Little Hall is #4 on the accompanying NWC Campus Map.Classification: The <strong>Design</strong> <strong>Workshop</strong> is a SECRET/NOFORN event. Security is paramount,and the responsibility of each participant. At no time will any classified discussions take placeoutside of the spaces designated specifically for the workshop. All participants will be issued anaccess pass at check-in of which must be displayed at all times in order to gain access to the<strong>Design</strong> <strong>Workshop</strong> spaces.Clearances: Clearance data should be sent to the <strong>Naval</strong> <strong>War</strong> College’s Security Office via JPASat SMO code: N001244, message at PLA: NAVWARCOL or fill out the Visit Request Formand fax to (401) 841-3004. Directions to T. F. Green and Logan AirportsDirections from <strong>Naval</strong> <strong>War</strong> College to T. F. Green Airport:Proceed out Gate 1 onto Training Station Road. Enter rotary, follow halfway around, and exit.After exiting rotary, take the exit for Route 138 West. Follow Route 138 West over Newport(toll) and Jamestown Bridges, then take the exit for U.S. Route 1 North. At first light, bear leftonto Route 4 North. Follow Route 4 North until it merges with I-95 North. Take exit 13 (T. F.Green Airport) o I-95; follow signs to airport.Directions from <strong>Naval</strong> <strong>War</strong> College to Logan International Airport:Proceed out Gate 1 onto Training Station Road. Enter rotary, follow three-quarters of the wayaround, and exit onto J. T. Connell High - way. Follow until the Route 114 intersection, turningleft onto Route 114 North. Follow Route 114 north until the Route 114-Route 24 split, bearingright onto Route 24 North. Follow Route 24 North into Massachusetts, then take exit 21A (I-93North). From I-93 North, take Exit 20 (located just past Exit 18-Mass. Ave/Roxbury/FrontageRoad). Follow the new elevated highway into the new South Bostontunnel. Merge onto I-90 East and into the Ted Williams Tunnel and follow Airport signs.
