A bid shall not be considered unless one of theforms of Bidder's security is enclosed with it.The successful bidder will also be required to provide a performance and paymentbond for 100 percent of the contract price.<strong>BIDS</strong> TO REMAIN OPEN: The Bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for aperiod of seventy-five (75) calendar days from the date of bid opening.<strong>CITY</strong>’S RIGHTS RESERVED: The City of Bremerton reserves the right to rejectany and all bids on any or all schedules or alternates or to waive any informalitiesin the bidding and shall determine which bid or bidders is the most satisfactoryand responsible bidder and shall be the sole judge thereof.No plea of mistake in the bid shall be available to the bidder for the recovery ofhis/her deposit or as a defense to any action based upon the neglect or refusal toexecute a contract.WAGE RATES: The attention of Bidders is directed to the requirements andconditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paidunder the Contract.PRE-BID CONFERENCE: It is the responsibility of each bidder to visit theproposed work site to become familiar with local conditions that may affect cost,progress, or performance of the work. Prospective bidders are recommended toattend a pre-bid visit of the proposed work site, which will be conducted at 10AMon May 18, 2011. The objective of the visit is to acquaint bidders with the conditionsof the site and the work.The pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Bremerton Police Facility locatedat 1025 Burwell Street, Bremerton, WA 98337 and a visit of the work site will beconducted. This work site is restricted and by escort only.
