APPENDIX VI - Accomplishments and On-going Initiatives:We are planning to do a special outreach through <strong>the</strong> assistance of <strong>the</strong> Chamber of<strong>Co</strong>mmerce to obtain corporate sponsorships <strong>for</strong> businesses to enroll <strong>the</strong>ir employees with aspecial fringe benefit; this would remit membership in bulk and <strong>the</strong> co-<strong>op</strong> could save onadministration. The <strong>Manchester</strong> Chamber of <strong>Co</strong>mmerce has agreed to help us with thisinitiative;We are planning to partner with downtown restaurants to purchase locally produced food inbulk. We have been contacted by owners or directors of <strong>the</strong> Z Restaurant, Hanover St.Ch<strong>op</strong> House, Jewell and <strong>the</strong> Beanstalk and <strong>Co</strong>nsuelo's Taqueria. The co-<strong>op</strong> will be proactivein promoting a food purchasing coalition <strong>for</strong> <strong>Manchester</strong> area restaurants;<strong>Manchester</strong> Housing and Redevel<strong>op</strong>ment Authority (MHRA) has expressed interest inpromoting <strong>the</strong> <strong>Co</strong>-<strong>op</strong> project;Maximized Social Networking via <strong>the</strong> Internet.
