Medicines Management carry out Safe Handling of Medicines Audits at PCT clinic venues withrefrigerators used to store vaccines / medicines.Infection Control Team ensure that all pct clinics and healthcare facilities that are under PCTcontract are part of the Infection prevention and control audit programme. One of the programmestandards includes management of vaccines.An audit will be conducted 3 months after the training is completed to establish the progress madewith implementing the policy. A clinical audit project proposal form will be submitted when it isconfirmed that the policy has been ratified.Denotes: Action not yet taken or deadline for action not met.
