ZafiroEnvironmentally friendlyZafiro uses refrigerant R410A from the HFC family,an ozone-friendly refrigerant. Nonetheless, everysingle Zafiro chiller is fully pressure and leaktested in the factory in order to reduce the riskof leakage on site. But, above all, Zafiro is highlyefficient, saves energy and thus contributes toreduce global warming.One chiller, manyapplicationsZafiro has been designed to operate in a verywide range of conditions. It can produce chilledwater from +15°C down to -12°C while workingwith condenser water temperatures ranging from+18°C to +55°C. First A-Class chillerin its categoryZafiro is the first R410A water-cooled chiller usingscroll compressors to be rated Eurovent Class A.By combining the latest available technology inscroll compression with YORK state-of-the-art heatexchanger design, Zafiro reaches unmatched FullLoad COP values as high as 5.2.Additionally, the incorporation of multiple scrollcompressors results in high part load efficiencies.Having its compressors always running at fullload, Zafiro does not suffer efficiency reduction atpart load. With ESEER (European Seasonal EnergyEfficiency Ratio) values as high as 7.24, Zafirooperates at efficiency levels never reached beforewith similar technology.As quiet as a whisperSpecial attention has been paid to Zafiro’s designin order to get the maximum performance withthe minimum of sound and vibration: Ultra quietscroll compressors, pipework specifically designedto minimize vibrations and optional compressorsacoustic blankets. ZafiroSaving you valuable floorspaceZafiro is also designed to reduce the installationcosts to a minimum. With its compact design, Zafirodelivers up to 173 kW/m 2 , making the most of youravailable space. Equally important, Zafiro can fitthrough a standard single door with no disassemblyrequired, making it the ideal chiller for both new andretrofit installations. Zafiro also has a single pointelectrical power connection and fully accessiblevictaulic water connections for ease and rapidity ofinstallation.Easy to operateZafiro uses the new IPU microprocessor controller,which includes the latest technology to provideaccurate control of the leaving chilled watertemperature while minimizing the power input to thecompressors. This controller is also natively capableof communicating with BACnet protocol and thusallows Zafiro to be fully integrated in your BMSsystem.
