Officials at theschool suspended the student forfive days.10/9 - USBR Plant Protectionadvised police that an employeedrove recklessly as he approachedthe Station 3 guard shack. <strong>The</strong>guard reported the incident to hissupervisor who called police. An<strong>of</strong>ficer met with the employee whodenied the report. <strong>The</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficer’s reportis being sent to the OkanoganCounty prosecutor’s <strong>of</strong>fice forpossible action.- An <strong>of</strong>ficer stopped a driverknown to be wanted on an arrestwarrant. <strong>The</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficer also noticedthat her passenger was not wearinghis seatbelt. <strong>The</strong> woman wasadvised she was under arrest, andthe man allegedly gave the <strong>of</strong>ficera false name, but finally confirmedhis real name. He was alsowanted on a felony warrant out <strong>of</strong>Spokane. <strong>The</strong> two were taken toGrant County Jail.10/10 - A woman living on BurdinBoulevard asked for extra patrolsbecause she told police thatshe had been “flipped <strong>of</strong>f” severaltimes and was concerned.- A woman called police andreported that her husband, whodoesn’t live with her, was drinkingand driving around in a whitepickup. Police found the man, whothought he was in the passengerside <strong>of</strong> the vehicle, and the <strong>of</strong>ficercould see that the keys <strong>of</strong> the vehiclewere on the floor. A rifle inthe pickup was secured and theman’s sister came to pick him up.10/11 - A man walking on SR-174 was picked up because an <strong>of</strong>ficerknew <strong>of</strong> a warrant on him.He told the <strong>of</strong>ficer that someonewas using his name. She said she had seen aman who lives on Dill Avenue atthe site. Police contacted the manand noted that the imprint <strong>of</strong> hisshoe was the same as the imprintin the oil. <strong>The</strong> shoes were takenas evidence and the report wentto the prosecutor’s <strong>of</strong>fice for possibleaction.10/13 - A man with a Germandriver’s license was cited in ElectricCity for going 77 mph in a 35mph zone.- Police were called to KingStreet on a report <strong>of</strong> domesticviolence. Police found a man andwoman yelling at each other. <strong>The</strong>ystated that there was no violencegoing on and that they were justyelling over a football game.- A Moses Lake driver wasstopped because the <strong>of</strong>ficer couldsee that a passenger wasn’t wearinga seatbelt. <strong>The</strong> driver wascited for allowing a person to ridewithout wearing a seatbelt andfor having people in the vehiclewho were underage because <strong>of</strong> hisrestricted license.- Police found a brush fire inthe alley <strong>of</strong> Burdin Boulevard andcalled the fire department. Beforeit arrived, a couple came outsideand said the fire was theirs. Afterthe <strong>of</strong>ficer explained that theycouldn’t burn, the couple put thefire out.- Police helped a stalled driverget his vehicle going at Riley Point.<strong>The</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficer furnished starter fluidto help the driver.10/14 - A woman reported thather husband who suffers from dementiawas missing. Police foundthe man and returned him to hisresidence.<strong>Coulee</strong> Dam Police10/8 - A concerned citizen advisedpolice that a person knownto be wanted on an arrest warrantwas inside the <strong>Coulee</strong> DamCasino.
