APPLICATIONS<strong>Technology</strong>-based learning can be implemented in a wide array of forms including throughblended learning, distance education, instructor-led classes, or just-in-time training. Thefollowing are examples of a variety of TBL applications in government, industry, and education.GovernmentGovernment at the federal and state level has turned its attention to technology-based learning asa cost-effective strategy to provide training and professional development for the workforce;literacy, math, and science education for K-12 students; and up-to-date, on-demand training formilitary personnel and other government workers.
