Through the special microemulsion formulation a perfect dispersal over the whole
area of the gut mucosa of the active ingredients controlling the function of the
intestinal tract is guaranteed as well as a rapid and almost complete corpuscular
absorption via the lymphatic system is ensured.
VeyFo® Young-Animal-Oral-Mulgat® has been formulated as a supplementary
dietetic feed with natural high-grade components meeting the requirements for the
special nutritional purposes according to the list of the stipulated nutritional purposes
defined in the “Official Schedule for Dietary Feed“.

digestive disorders as well as in the recovery stage

In other animal species the product is intended to supplement the daily ration to
meet the increased nutritional physiological needs as it might be necessary especially
prior to, during and following particularly demanding short-term performance.
Scours very often are the expression of a multi-factorial process where non-infectious
and infectious influences are closely related with each other. Differing causes,
such as spoilt or badly compiled feed rations, along with unfavourable housing
conditions result in the spread of harmful bacteria. These germs, however, will only
act as pathogens under unfavourable conditions, particularly in cases of inappropriate
feeding and poor nutrition (i.e. diseases of multiple aetiology).
In calves, foals, sheep and goat kids the product it is intended to supplement the
daily standard ration to satisfy the increased short-term needs in particular in young
animals especially prior to, during and following particularly demanding stages such
as transport, change of housing, feed changes and highly demanding animal performances.

Nutritional physiological role:
The nutritional physiological role of the individual substances contained in the
product can be summarized based on the available technical literature as well as the
practical experiences.
Cellulose binds toxins that occur and accompany incomplete fermentation in the
alimentary canal.
Aromas: In addition to the sensory characteristics the aroma- (herbal spices) oils
and extracts contain essential micro- and immunobiological substances, which are
distributed over the upper mucous membrane layers of the gut that
� impede the adhesion properties of the pathogens to the gut mucous membrane,
associated with achieving a stabilizing of the gut flora and thus protect against
the ingression of bacteria and minimize the absorption of toxic substances;
� promote the secretion of bile and pancreatic enzymes and positively influences
the regeneration process of the intestinal villi.
Sufficient quantities of vitamins - in particular E and B - are further important

components of a well-balanced nutritional provision. Their physiological significance
is generally well-known.
Recommendations for use and dosage
Dietetic feed to stabilize the digestive system in the presence of a risk of and during
digestive upsets (diarrhoea) as well as in the recovery phase to be fed possibly over
a period of 10 days spread over 2 meals, to individual animals directly resp. via the
feed or water to groups of animals.

All constituents contained in VeyFo® Young-Animal-Oral-Mulgat® are well known
in animal nutrition. They are also used as nutritional supplements in humans.
