Let each one of us therefore,serve according to our gifts."Romans 12:4-6One of the hallmarks of <strong>Roncalli</strong> over the years has been student service. The concept of developing yourfaith through Christian service is alive and well through the Lasallian Youth Group. Presently over 80% ofthe students participate by becoming involved in one of the many service projects or programs.<strong>Roncalli</strong> students continue to partner with the following organizations:- St. Vincent de Paul Society - Area Parishes & <strong>School</strong>s - St. Mary's Home- American Cancer Society - Peter's Pantry - Northridge Care Center- Salvation Army - Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry - Association for theDevelopmentally Disabled<strong>Roncalli</strong> President John Stelzer shared his thoughts on service at <strong>Roncalli</strong>. "I am very proud of the tremendousdedication of our students. The quality and the quantity of service they provide speaks volumesabout their faith development. I am proud to report to our alumni that our students continue to be activelyinvolved in their parishes, through charitable organizations, and beyond our region through theirwillingness to serve others in need."1

<strong>Roncalli</strong> Celebrates 25th Anniversary AuctionAlumni and friends are encouraged to mark their calendars for the weekendof April 24th-25th for the celebration of our 25th Annual PiersidePlaza Auction. There will be several events and tributes planned to commemoratethe occasion and to celebrate as a <strong>Roncalli</strong> community.On Friday evening, April 24th, we are hosting our first alumni previewnight. Former and current staff members will be present to visit withalumni and celebrate with a special auction preview night. She student taught inTwo Rivers and served as achildcare teacher for four years atCreative Learning in Two Rivers.Casey Schramm and Jill Jaegerare engaged to be married inSeptember 2009. He is a member ofthe freshman eight boat thatfinished third at the <strong>2008</strong> EasternAssociation of Rowing CollegeChampionships. They advancedto win the Petite Final and helpedto lead the Badgers to their firstRowe Cup team championshipsince 1946 and just their secondtitle in the 71-year history of theregatta.Class of '08Matthew Lohr was a recipient ofthe <strong>2008</strong>-09 Beatrice andMatthew Arendt TalentshipAward.

Thirty pilots sneakout of the Philippines byairplane and submarine to getto Australia to put theirplanes together. The rest ofthe 27th stays on Bataan andbecome POW's.
