ii)where the vehicle will be used by the grantee to supportprogrammes or activities intended to promote institutionaldevelopment or sustainability of the organization and itsprogrammes.b) Reassign the vehicle to another grantee whose program requires the use ofa vehicle.c) Sell the vehicle to the grantee or other party at the determined marketvalue after the 3-year period.4. Unsatisfactory Implementation Of Projecta) Where the grantee fails to fulfill one or more of its obligations under theterms of the grant agreement, particularly with respect to the usage ofgrant funds and the implementation of the project approved, and theproject is terminated, the EFJ will exercise its option to demand the returnof vehicle(s) purchased with its grant funds.b) The grantee when so requested, will be expected to return the vehicle(s) ingood working order and condition. If the vehicle is not in good workingcondition at the time of it’s return, the Grantee agrees to undertake, at it’sown expense, all the necessary repairs to restore the vehicle to a workingcondition in keeping with it’s age and capability.c) The Foundation reserves the right to periodically assess the care of thevehicle assigned to Grantee and if not satisfied with same, the vehicle maybe withdrawn and reassigned.5. Insurance of VehicleThe EFJ will be responsible for ensuring that motor vehicles are ensured with a reputablefirm. Payment of such insurance will be made from funds provided under the grantor by the grantee.BMACHINES & EQUIPMENT1. Acquisition and MaintenanceWhere EFJ grant funds are utilized to secure machines and equipment, granteesshall be required to:a) Comply with the EFJ’s policy on the acquisition of equipment, vehiclesand other capital items.
