I took thisopportunity as an opportunity to explore some other programs that exist out there. Themost beneficial things about technology coaching was the amount of time I saved byhaving someone else surf the web to find a new teaching tool.7. What suggestions do you have for future projects of this type?Any new project needs to be plan weeks ahead of time, since the implementation meansadjusting the lesson and in most cases showing the students how to use the new internetbased program.Additional question asked by peer coach:At the beginning, you rated yourself a 4 on a scale of 1-5 for technology skills. (5being the highest.) After participating in this experience, how would you rateyourself now on a scale of 1-5?I learned about 2 new internet based programs, and I had a refresher about one. It is hardto know exactly what is meant by technology skills. Technology covers more than justthe internet. Again, the most time consuming thing is to surf the web to find newprograms to be incorporated in the lessons. The use of these programs--GLOSTER,VOKI AND QUIA, is not difficult in itself.
