What is offered?Nutritional Counseling (among others):• Weight Management (adult and pediatric)• Heart Disease• Nutrition for enhancing active lifestyles andsports performance• Cancer• Pregnancy, including high risk• Pre-Diabetes• Bariatric Surgery• Pediatric Nutrition• Food Allergies and Intolerances• Digestive ProblemsMetabolic Analysis:• Bod Pod ® (body fat analysis)• Resting metabolic rate (actual calorieexpenditure at rest)• Nutritional intake analysis/menu planningFor the pediatric population, the LiVe programis offered. It, too, has a class series and anindividualized program. Nine classes, whichcan be obtained over a year, are required forsuccessful completion. The individualizedprogram is family-oriented.In support of the weight management programs,we offer body composition analysis, using theBod Pod®, and resting metabolic rate analysis.These tests can be purchased at special rateswhen participating in any of the formal weightmanagement programs.For more information, brochures are availablefor the Weigh to Health program, the LiVeprogram, and the metabolic analyses.C<strong>ommunity</strong> Services:• Individual or group <strong>nutrition</strong> counseling• Menu approval for facilities (care centers, healthagencies, schools, etc…)• Presentations on topics such as women’s health,current <strong>nutrition</strong> topics, shopping for health, andmany more.Weight Management:Dixie Regional Medical Center offers several optionsfor weight control. Each is presented by a dietitiantrained in weight management. Individuals canmake initial and follow-up appointments with thedietitian, or they can participate in formal programs.For the adult population, the Weigh to HealthProgram offers two pathways, a series of 12 formalclasses and the six month, individualized program.The class series is held twice yearly; the individualpathway is available any time.How Much Does it Cost?A fee is charged for all <strong>services</strong>.
