award from Avon Foundation<br />
<strong>VCS</strong> continues to be recognized in the community for many of its<br />
initiatives.<br />
A few of the awards and recognition received in 2008 include:<br />
Target Stores Foundation continued to support the <strong>VCS</strong> Center for<br />
Parent Education.<br />
AXA Foundation in support of child abuse prevention programs.<br />
The Chazen Foundation continued its invaluable financial support for<br />
the <strong>VCS</strong> Community Change Project and other agency needs.<br />
The Avon Foundation awarded a grant to support counseling for<br />
victims of domestic violence.<br />
