is funding the expansion of<br />
the PROAERO Small Airports<br />
Network Program.<br />
In addition to these grants, <strong>US</strong>TDA<br />
sponsored orientation visits to<br />
the United States to facilitate<br />
exchanges between key Brazilian<br />
decision makers <strong>and</strong> their U.S.<br />
counterparts. The visits focused<br />
on marginal oilfield production, the<br />
natural gas/liquefied natural gas<br />
sector, <strong>and</strong> aviation.<br />
<strong>US</strong>TDA’s program in Brazil demonstrates<br />
the <strong>Agency</strong>’s effectiveness<br />
in bringing U.S. technology,<br />
expertise <strong>and</strong> ingenuity to bear in<br />
addressing development needs. In<br />
establishing its priorities, Brazil has<br />
continuously endeavored to couple<br />
infrastructure development with<br />
economic growth. <strong>US</strong>TDA looks<br />
forward to continuing to partner<br />
with Brazil to meet both countries’<br />
commercial <strong>and</strong> policy objectives.<br />
