It includes the followingrecommendations: Constraints arising from the statement of cultural significance1. The... statement attaches a high degree of significance to the natural environmental setting and the mining landscape........as a complex [the buildings] are integral to understanding the original townscape.Conservation policies will be directed towards preserving both the existing aesthetic qualities of both the natural andcultural environment.2.
