Maintain ExpungementFile?• According to opinion from South CarolinaCourt Administration, all expungementstatutes, with the exception of 17-22-150, require expungement by lawenforcement agencies. The Clerk ofCourt would not be considered a L.E.agency. The SC Attorney General’sOffice also agree with this opinion.• The expungement statutes are directedto law enforcement.
