Erin Fekjar discussed that these essays areonly a ‘part’ of the consideration for becoming members. It wasconcluded that improving the description of the groups, particularly on theActivities web page, would be the best solution.New Business:• Report Card Revision:Some faculty feel that the comment selections allowed on report cardsshould include “Excessive Talking.” There are constraints involving thenumber of choices the computer program allows. If “Excessive Talking”were added one of the existing choices would need to be eliminated.The discussion centered around which to eliminate, whether “Good Effort”and “Excellent Participation” are the same, what “No Materials” meansand does “Please Contact Teacher” cover the excessive talking issue.Rep’s to take it back to their dept.s and get suggestions.
