Bipolar Scissors ERBE BiSect –“Mulitfunctional” Scissors with a Long Life Span.With ERBE BiSect, the electrosurgical bipolarscissors, it is possible to combine steps duringopen surgery procedures. Using a singleinstrument the surgeon has a choice of severaldifferent functions – without being requiredto change the instrument. During mechanicalcutting, tissue is simultaneously coagulatedwith the option of carrying out pre-coagulationto improve hemostasis.Surfaces can be either selectively coagulated with closed scissorblades or coagulated over larger areas by keeping the scissor bladesopen and placing on the tissue. The VIO System provides suitablecurrent forms and adjusts the energy output, for example with thetissue sparing BIPOLAR SOFT Mode. Bipolar Cutting and Coagulation,Dissection and Preparation with the ERBE LAP BiSect.The ERBE LAP BiSect permits laparoscopic operations to be carried out with fewer units andless instruments. Simpler, quicker, more effective and more economical. With its excellentpreparation properties and its effective coagulation and dissection the LAP BiSect offers awide range of functions, allowing the use of new operative techniques. Tissue is separatedelectrosurgically, so that it is not necessary to resharpen the blades as is the case withmechanical/sharp cutting.With its “multiple functions“, the LAP BiSect minimizes the time requiredfor changes between instruments, shortening operating times.
