Monitoring of conveyorbelts is possible by rolling wheels.The Al-Ni 6 is the successor of the proven Al-Ni5.It’s dimensions at clutch flange and size havebeen maintained from it’s predecessor and thefunction principle is compatible. With respectto the lower switching power the Al-Ni 6 is appropriatefor monitoring slow-down, revolutionand conveyor belts.As an advantage the Al-Ni 6 features a digitaladjustment of the switching speed (r.p.m.) bycode switches. The adjustment range is from 60r.p.m. up to 6000 r.p.m. (1-100 revolutions persecond) in steps of 60 r.p.m. and can be set independentlyfor left and right turning.Function PrincipleWhen the shaft is turned a stepper motorinduces the supply power for the signalprocessing circuits and the signal voltages fordetermination of revolution and direction.When the speed selected by the code switchesis reached relay 1 switches at left turning andrelay 2 switches at right turning.Switching SpeedFor adjustment of the switching speed thecoding switches, two for each turningdirection, are to be set by a small screw driver.
