tournament. Kathy constantly broke up plays and played solid defense all year. Both<br />

Emily and Kathy were extremely hard workers and their personalities and work<br />

ethic are impossible to replace.<br />

Kendra Waters and Sarah Byrne played the outside back positions and both brought<br />

something special to the team. Kendra was a speedy defender and was always<br />

positive coming down to the field. Sarah was a very physical player who never let<br />

anyone by her with out a fight. Both were hard workers and consistent defenders<br />

and it will be hard to fill their spots in the upcoming seasons.<br />

Kaily Williams was a speedy striker who used her speed to beat defenders to the<br />

goal. She always applied solid pressure and made the opposing defenders nervous<br />

every time she was on the field. She was always positive and will be missed in the<br />

upcoming years.<br />

Morgan Kille was a consistently solid defender and through her hard work and<br />

gutsy plays, she prevented many offensive opportunities for opposing teams<br />

throughout the season. Morgan showed a lot of heart and passion for the game along<br />

with a solid work ethic and that combination is a great one to have and will be hard<br />

to replace.<br />

Emily Hughes was plagued with injury for much of the season, yet she still showed<br />

up and showed her commitment to the team by continuing to encourage her<br />

teammates every chance she could. She will be missed.<br />

Alex Stevenson is a very dedicated athlete and a strong leader, as she captained the<br />

talented JV squad. Alex never let up and maintianed a positive attitude throughout the<br />

entire season. She was constantly encouraging to her teammates and consistently led by<br />

example on and off the field. Her attitude and dedication made her an asset to the<br />

program and she will be missed by all.<br />

Faith McCarthy: Faith was and will continue to be an impact player on the field. <strong>The</strong><br />

combination of her work ethic and her impressive talent is difficult to come by and<br />

is what sets her apart from the average player. Faith’s passion and dedication to the<br />

game is evident in the way that she plays. Faith led the team in points, amassing<br />

sixteen goals and eight assists for a total of forty points on the season.
