The result is a fork that's incrediblystiff and precise 80.0handling, but still plenty light. To ensure maximum strength and impact resistance we'vedesigned the <strong>SL2</strong>'s 60.0 fork with a number of unique features.(lbf/inch)70.0First, we inset the bottom bearing of the headset 12mm50.0into the headtube. That puts the bearing directly in-linewith the downtube, 40.0 giving the frame and fork maximumimpact resistance. For even more impact resistance, we30.078.8employ a patented method for “laying–up” the carbonfibers in the transition between the fork crown and 1.5-inchsteerer tube.
