The stock is a hinged foldingSwiss-style that is able to collapse for easeof transportation or use in tight quarters.This feature is made possible by a newMagpul ® PRS Precision Rifle Buttstock, adjustable for length-of-pull and comb height.Fully collapsedButtstock and comb extended3511®SS A AU UE ERRTactical Precisionstock interface built into the trigger casing.The adjustable stock snaps and securelylocks into a folded position with a length-of-pull that can be preset by the user.Obtaining a sight picture with the SIG556SWAT model now takes place using afixed hooded front sight and a new rearrotary diopter sight, utilizing aperturecalibrations from close quarter ranges outto100m, 200m, and 300m. The dioptersight configuration is also available as anoption on the SIG556 Classic model.Drawing on the heritage of a rarevariant used by Swiss security forces, theSIG556 DMR extends the reach of theClassic line through use of a new 21-inchhammer forged heavy barrel. The DMRcan be adapted for many body-types withadjustments to the stock’s length of pulland comb height.
