L03 Autumn in South Bend -<br />

It's Football Season<br />

Hop in your car and head to South Bend on<br />

September 28, 2013, for what’s sure to be a<br />

memorable day. Watch the Fighting Irish take on<br />

the Oklahoma Sooners, right in Notre Dame<br />

Stadium. You will have four tickets (all together) to<br />

watch these two historic teams battle to victory.<br />

The Oklahoma Sooners football program began in<br />

1895 and is the most successful program <strong>of</strong> the<br />

modern era with 567 wins and a winning<br />

percentage <strong>of</strong> .763. They boast 7 national<br />

championships, 43 conference championships, 152<br />

<strong>All</strong>-Americans, and 5 Heisman Trophy winners.<br />

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a fierce<br />

competitor with 13 national championships, 128<br />

<strong>All</strong> Americans, and a record 7 Heisman Trophy<br />

L04 Eighth Grade Quilt<br />

Michael and Rebecca Bohmer<br />

Keep your child’s elementary school memories<br />

alive forever in this one-<strong>of</strong>-a-kind twin sized quilt.<br />

Each <strong>of</strong> the 8th grade children donated one <strong>of</strong> their<br />

own <strong>All</strong> <strong>Saints</strong> t-shirts, which was expertly<br />

embroidered with his/her name by Gail Mullinger.<br />

Then, each square was carefully quilted together by<br />

our own, Micki Harrell, to create this super s<strong>of</strong>t<br />

treasure. Just think…your child can take this<br />

wonderful memory quilt to college in just a few<br />

short years!<br />
