Dear All Saints Family and Friends:
Tonight we are celebrating our second year as co-chairs of this amazing event. We welcome
you to sit back, relax and raise that paddle over and over again throughout the evening. We
are honored to be involved and have been humbled by the experience.
This year we were reminded again of the spirit and unmatched generosity of the parishioners
of All Saints. So many people have given something to this event. Whether it is a gift of time,
ideas, talent or treasure, every bit of it has made the Spectacular live up to its name. We
invite you to look around, take a moment to take it all in and think about the army of
individuals it takes to make it happen. It’s a good reminder that we are part of something
bigger than ourselves.
We would like to extend an enormous THANK YOU to Dave and Mary Greive, who graciously
(ok maybe we conned them a little bit) accepted our offer to co-chair the event this year.
They jumped in with enthusiasm and have been an integral part of what you see before you.
We are lucky to know them and are thrilled to be able to work with them. And oh yeah,
we’re pretty sure we promised to meet them in Vegas after this was over and promises must
be honored!
Please enjoy this evening and remember that we are all in this together. We look forward to
reporting results of our evening to you in the next couple of weeks. Our financial goals are
lofty, however, our ultimate success is always defined by the spirit and camaraderie of all of
those here tonight. Mission accomplished.
