Everyone whowasn't chosen for the jury is considered the"shadow" jury and also pronounce their verdict. The"Pick Me!" program provides an excellentopportunity for students to learn about theimportance of juries in our justice system and why itis so important to respond to jury summons. Theprogram is the perfect fit in the third Six Weeks ofeach semester when the Judicial Branch is beingaddressed in the Government curriculum.The sign-up process for the "Pick Me!" program isnow underway for Government teachers whoseclasses will be participating this semester during theweeks of April 23 - May 11.
