It has beenhoused in five different buildings, four of which are still standing and continuingto serve the needs of the district’s students. The current high schoolopened in 1998 and was designed for 1,000 students. An addition built in 2007expanded the school’s capacity to 1,500. The building houses students ingrades 9 through 12.New Prague Middle School serves grades 6 through 8. The building firstopened in 1976 as the high school, but was renovated in 1998 to serve as amiddle school. Since 2008, students in grade six have utilized the Central Educationcampus building for their homeroom activities, as enrollment exceededthe capacity of the 1976 building.St. WenceslausCatholic School227 Main St EHoly CrossCatholic School6100 37th St W, WebsterThe district operates three elementary schools. Falcon Ridge Elementary was built in 1968 as New Prague ElementarySchool, and an addition to the building was constructed in 1992. Raven Stream Elementary, on the west edge of NewPrague, and Eagle View Elementary in Elko New Market, both opened in 2006. The two new buildings are nearly identical.All three buildings serve students in grades K-5.New Prague opened an Alternative Learning Center for high school-aged students in September, 2012. The new school,located in the Central Education Campus, provides a home for students who had formerly gone to alternative schools outsidethe district.
