I often hear commentsfrom outsiders about how polite and well-adjustedour students are, about their acts of kindness and considerationfor others, and about their sense of playfulness and fun.The comment, “You know a St.Francis student when you meetone,” is a testament to our faculty’sunwavering dedicationand constant investment. As we move toward thecompletion of our long-rangeplan, everyone has a part toplay. Some will contribute toSt. Francis’ continued growthand excellence by volunteering behind the scenes. Some willshape our students through gifts of time and ingenuity. Andsome will mold the landscape of our campuses with cash orin-kind donations. Every bit of it makes a difference, andI want to thank each of you for doing your part to make St.Francis a blessed paradox: a place where academic rigor andgenuine nurture work hand in hand to produce good studentswho also are good people.Go Wolves!Bill MontgomeryChair, Board of TrusteesAnnual report 2010–2011 7
