~ 3 ~2.3.2 Each Summer Season Junior Angler must provide a disclaimer signed by his or herparent or guardian before being granted angling rights. The disclaimer shall include thedeclaration that the Summer Season Junior Angler holds a swimming certificate for at least 50m.This certificate or a copy must be produced when joining.2.3.3 The annual fee, which usually covers the period from the early May Day w/e to the lastSunday in September inclusive, shall be payable in advance and shall be determined by the HSCExecutive Committee from time to time. Summer Season Junior Anglers beyond the first in thesame family shall be granted a 50% reduction in the fee.2.3.4 All Summer Season Junior Anglers must check in with the Superintendents at the gateand leave their card. Summer Season Junior Anglers are not allowed on the timbered walkwaysunless they have been given permission from the Head Bailiff. Juniors must collect their card 30minutes before the Lake closes. This is very important.2.3.5 Accompanying Junior Anglers , 13 to 17 years old, may be Summer Season Juniors aswell at no extra charge. Please apply for form.2.3.6 Summer Season Junior Anglers are not permitted to introduce guests.3. Visitors3.1 Senior Anglers may bring in up to two Senior or Junior Visiting Anglers and one NonanglingVisitor as guests. Junior Visiting Anglers shall be 8 to 17 years of age and must havepassed a swimming test for at least 50m. for a visitor’s ticket to be issued see Bylaw 2.3.2. Guesttickets are good for 24 hours and may be purchased from the Superintendents at the gate orfrom the Head Bailiff. Non-angling Juniors are not allowed in the angling areas of the Lake.3.2 In accordance with the disclaimer that all Senior Anglers sign (Bylaw 2.1.4) guestsentering the grounds of <strong>Henleaze</strong> Lake do so at their own risk and can in no way hold theCommittee and members of HSC Executive Committee responsible for their safety or the safetyof their possessions. Senior Anglers have an obligation to point this out to their guests.3.3 Senior Anglers bringing in guests accept full responsibility for their conduct, safety and thesafety of their possessions. Guests shall be accompanied at all times.3.4 Junior Visiting Anglers are not allowed to be at the Lake during the hours of darkness andthey are not allowed on the timbered walkways.3.5 The cost of tickets for Senior Visiting Anglers, Junior Visiting Anglers and Non-anglingGuests shall be determined by the HSC Executive Committee from time to time.4. <strong>Angling</strong> Conduct4.1 Every angler shall hold the necessary rod licences as required by the EnvironmentAgency.4.2 All Anglers and Visiting Anglers must at all times carry their national fishing licence andtheir authority to fish at the Lake. These documents must be produced for inspection whenrequested by a Superintendent or Honorary Bailiff.4.3 All Anglers shall have the right to challenge other anglers to produce their authority to fishin the Lake.4.4 No fishing is allowed in the swimming area as defined by notices or from the first swimbeyond the <strong>Fishing</strong> Gate when the Lake is open for swimming.
