g) Point of Delivery means the point at which the reclaimed<strong>water</strong> is delivered to the <strong>design</strong>ated user or the <strong>reuse</strong> <strong>water</strong>holding pond.h) Rain Event means any event where precipitation couldcause the <strong>water</strong> level in the holding pond, <strong>design</strong>ed inaccordance with Section 11.2 of these <strong>guidelines</strong>, to rise byup to six (6) inches or less.i) Reclaimed Water means waste<strong>water</strong> that has receivedtreatment that meets the criteria specified in theseGuidelines.j) Reclaimed Water Treatment System or Water ReuseSystem means the treatment system <strong>for</strong> <strong>urban</strong> <strong>water</strong> <strong>reuse</strong>approved by the Division.k) Reject <strong>water</strong> means treated waste<strong>water</strong> that is diverted from<strong>reuse</strong> customers because it does not meet the 3 NTUturbidity criteria due to a disinfection system failure, or has tobe diverted due to a failure to meet 100#/100 ml on a singlefecal coli<strong>for</strong>m test.l) Reuse means the use of reclaimed <strong>water</strong> as a substitute <strong>for</strong>other <strong>water</strong> sources <strong>for</strong> the beneficial irrigation of areas thatmay be accessible to the public. This includes areas such asgolf courses, residential <strong>and</strong> commercial l<strong>and</strong>scaping, parks,athletic fields, roadway medians, <strong>and</strong> l<strong>and</strong>scapeimpoundments.m) Reuse Area is defined as the irrigated area of any<strong>design</strong>ated user.n) Reuse Service Area is defined as the physical area servedby the reclaimed <strong>water</strong> treatment facility or that receivesreclaimed <strong>water</strong> <strong>and</strong> has been included as part of the <strong>water</strong>balance <strong>for</strong> the reclaimed <strong>water</strong> distribution plan.o) Reuse Water Holding Pond means an artificialimpoundment that is <strong>design</strong>ed <strong>and</strong> maintained to store aspecific volume of reclaimed <strong>water</strong>. For the purposes ofthese <strong>guidelines</strong>, holding pond may also mean a storagetank constructed above, on, below, or partially below theground surface.4Revised March 30, 2012
