Consistency:Our new pC-Flare tube fittings have been made with a safety factor of 2 1/2 timesthe given nominal pressures.Under normal operating conditions and temperaturesunder 20°C the working pressure (BP) can be selected to conform to the nominalpressure (PN) given on the individual tables (see DIN 2401).In case of increased temperaturesthe working pressure should be reduced relative to nominal pressure as follows:Temperature range pressure reduction-60°C bis +20°C 0%+ 50°C 4,5%+100°C 11 %+150°C 16 %+200°C 20 %+250°C 24 %+300°C 29 %+400°C 33 %Temperature:N.B. DIN 17440,TAB 6 recommends a max. temperature of 300°C for AISI 316 and400°C for AISI 316Ti. On fittings with captive seals, the temperature ranges of the sealingmaterial must be observed: Perbunan NBR -40°C to + 100°C.Viton -25°C to +200°C.For your safety:Tube connections periodically have to sustain high pressure surges and vibrations.
